im trying to use #55661 ,with the bone and paw prints, to make a collar for my dog. her neck is about 15.5 inches around (loosely measured).. which ill be using a a buckle also which is a litttle more than an inch long.. the standard string size is 65 inches long and for wrist size of 7.5 .... if i made my strands like 130 inches long would that be long enough? im pretty knew at this.. ive made 4 things so far.

About 6 to 7 times the length you need is usually enough, but for bigger projects I always try to be on the safe side, so I would advice to take more than that.
This will be a pretty big project for a beginner though! Knotting with long strings can be pretty annoying.... :-)
