I saw this friendship bracelet in the movie Downsizing. anyone have this pattern or can do this kind of pattern. photo attached

This doesn?t look like a normal or an alpha-pattern to me. The knots (if they are knots) are in the opposite direction (90 degrees turned) of what would be a normal knotted bracelet.
This could maybe be beaded peyote-stitch, or it could be woven or braided. I can?t tell from the picture.
