Hmm... You could make something with macrame maybe.... www.macrameschool.com has macrame videos and patterns to choose from and at the VERY bottom, there is simple macrame things (like to make a bookmark, book cover, etc.; the pattern would be the same, except you're making it wider). :) I've made two macrame mp3 player cases (I think 78 strings wide with a thin yarn).

The phone case tutorial is basically how I started the macrame case. :) Just using macrame knots instead!
