All the patterns that I have seen say that no description is available. I can't figure out how to add a description to the patterns that I am creating. I saw somewhere that it is there when you generate the pattern, but I have never seen it. Does anyone know how to add descriptions?

You can add descriptions to alphas and kumihimo-patterns before saving, as far as I know. It will disappear while saving if it's an alpha-pattern though.
After saving, only moderators can add something to the description box.

Oh ok thanks! I was looking for it in the normal patterns.
