Pattern for bracelet style bandeau/tube top by WillowSmith 9 years ago

Hello everyone! I just joined this site so I could get some opinions on a project I decided to start, though I've used some of the patterns before. I'm working on a pretty wide bracelet right now, one with 22 or 24 strings, I forget and the idea to make a friendship bracelet style bandeau/tube top came to me. I am a very small chested girl so it shouldn't be too hard, I basically just need to find a pattern that will be at least 5 inches wide, 5 1/2 or 6 would be great. I was wondering if you think I should just go for one of the highest amount of string patterns or maybe a smaller one but use yarn instead of regular string. Also, I would like it to be a pretty quick one to make because I plan on wearing this while I'm on vacation in Hawaii which I'm leaving for on the 22nd. Thanks guys!

You dont have to choose a pattern so wide, you can just duplicate any other pattern you like :) I really love the idea, but it still seems like a lot of work ;)

I agree with Orlica, and I'd choose yarn if I were you. It's a lot of work and it will be hard to finish it before the 22nd I think.
I'd love to see a picture when you've finished it!

Ok, thank you! I will try that and see how it works!

So if I were going to use pattern 2400 how would I connect it or do it multiple times?

Have a look at this tutorial :-)

Great, thank you! Now I'm just going to decide whether I need to do it twice or three times across to get the right width.
