Hi guys, i want to make this bracelet #8549 but i don't know long the strings have to be. Could anyone help me? It has 14 strings and 16 rows.

My recommendation is arm length.

I always use about one metre - sometimes a bit more, if certain strings are more used than others in a pattern.

when it's an odd number of strings, in this case it's 7 of color A and 7 of color B, I take 3 strings of color A, then take three strings for color B, fold all 12 strings in half, and cut them at the fold, then get color A( not the 3 cut strings) and take it and hold the end up to the top of the 6 strings and cut where it matches up with the bottom of the strings, u do the same for B. U can tie it in a knot to keep the strings together, with a tail a few inches if u want to braid both ends. My best advice to keep strings in correct order with an overhand knot is to use a clip board. I hope this helps q:)
