Hello everyone!

I was wondering, would you guys like me to make a site with macrame? The friendship bracelet technique is a subgroup of macrame. You can do all kinds of stuff with macrame, like...

..an owl:


..a necklace:


..or a basket:


It is a great technique worth exploring if you like friendship bracelets. I already have a site about it on http://www.steffe.se/macrame, but it is not maintained anymore and it needs upgrading.

I was thinking about making a site similar to this one, with forum etc. What do you think? What should it contain?

i think thats a great idea, i think it should be similar to this website my mum told me how to to a baisic knot but i would like to make that owl.

I'm currently making other bracelets with "macramé". I love it, because it's different then "Friendship Bracelets" and it gives a nice effect. So I would love a really good macramé site. Because I looked for other patterns, but I can't find any.

I don't know what "macrame" is but it sounds good to me!

i looked at your website but i still dont get it... can someone please explain to me how to make a macrame knot? i dont get it!

I've been looking into macrame, being friendship bracelet making IS basically macrame, and I love some of the techniques I've seen. I've been toying with incorporating macrame ideas in with my friendship bracelets but... I'm still a novice so it's unlikely I'd come up with anything good any time soon. ;)

I've set up a new site now, on https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/macrame. It is not fully functional yet... But most of the vital functions. Get an account and contribute to the macrame community!! :)
