Send PM		Hi, I had a question about this tutorial: http://friendship-bracelets.net/tutorial.php?id=370

I don't understand the mumbo jumbo at the beginning about making the strings twice as long or whatever... Is someone able to just sum all that up in an easier way? (And I do understand the knotting with the pink and purple strings, just not the set up part for it).

Send PM		Basically its saying if you needed say 30 inches of yellow, and there were 2 strands of yellow in the pattern, you would double it to 60 inches and then fold it in half :)

Send PM		OK Kelly, let me see if I can get this right for you :) So you have the pattern picked out that you want to do..... pick one or two strings from the pattern and make those strings longer than all the rest. With those strings you can either do a square knot, forwards knot, or backwards knot around all the other strings until you have the desired length of the loop that you want.

I am starting to get a little confused again though.
When I make the strings twice as long like k_Marie said, I find the center or them (including the two slightly longer strands) and make my knots for the loop in the center right?
And when I've done that, I simply fold the loop in half and start my pattern right?
